Las Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas de Hollywood reveló este martes, la lista de nominados de Los Premios Oscar 2018. La protagonista indiscutible con trece menciones: La Forma del Agua (The Shape of Water) de Guillermo del Toro, que narra la historia de amor entre una mujer sordomuda y un hombre anfibio que se encuentra recluido en un laboratorio en plena Guerra Fría.
La película del director mexicano competirá por el galardón a Mejor Película, junto a otras ocho producciones: Call me by your name, Darkest Hour, Phantom Thread, Dunkirk, Lady Bird, The Post y Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri.
Dunkerque es la segunda película con más nominaciones, obteniendo mención en ocho categorías, mientras que Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri le sigue con siete.
La cuota latina la pone Chile, con la nominación de A Fantastic Woman a Mejor Película Extranjera, la cual tendrá que competir con producciones del Líbano, Rusia, Hungría y Suecia. El filme del director Sebastián Lelio, pone al país Austral a soñar con otro premio Oscar.
En la categoría de Mejor Película Animada, figuran Coco -la gran favorita para llevarse la estatuilla-, Boss Baby, Ferdinand, Loving Vincent y The Breadwinner.
La ceremonia de premiación será el próximo 4 de marzo y contará co la conducción del comediante Jimmy Kimmel.
